Top 10 SEO Firefox Plugins
I’m often surprised how often I talk to aspiring SEOs only to find out they aren’t taking advantage of the plethora of SEO Firefox plugins that exist at their disposal. Not only that, these plugins, when explained correctly, can often answer a handful of client questions freeing you up to do what you do best - optimize their site. So, with the above in mind, here’s my list of top 10 Firefox plugins for SEO:

- User Agent Switcher - This plugin will allow you to act like you are GoogleBot or another search engine spider via a menu and toolbar button. This is great for testing mobile sites. Tip* Make sure you clear your cookies and browser cache before using this.
- Web Developer - Designed by Chris Pederick, this plugin will allow you to view a web page with different browser configurations.
- SEO for Firefox - The SEO for Firefox plugin from SEOBook pulls in a slew of useful marketing data points such as PR, Domain age, external link data points and more all from within the search results.
- FlashBlock - takes a zero tolerance approach to dealing with Macromedia Flash content on webpages by blocking ALL Flash from the following content types: Macromedia Flash, Macromedia Shockwave and Macromedia Authorware. Flash content can be loaded simply by clicking the ‘play’ button.
- MozBar - The MozBar provides easy access to important SEO metrics, comparison of link metrics, a very cool analyze page overlay and much more.
- Google Toolbar - Get the official Google toolbar that will give you access to Pagerank, Google bookmarks and more. May as well get your information direct from the source

- SearchStatus - This plugin highlights nofollow links, displays PageRank and Alexa rank, as well as resources for backlink information.
